Nikon Z7/Z6/Z5/Z7II/Z6II Modular Plates

The Really Right Stuff BZ7 base plate is CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and seamlessly fits Nikon Z7, Z6, Z5, Z7II, and Z6II camera bodies. Its design embraces the camera's contours and securely fastens with proprietary hardware for a steadfast, motionless mount. A 1.5" wide RRS dovetail railing ensures consistent compatibility with RRS and Arca-Swiss quick-release clamps. Please note, these quick release plates are not compatible with the new Nikon Z6 III.

The BZ7 seamlessly integrates with the Nikon FTZ adapter, offering versatility.* Additional features include an embedded anchor for direct attachment of conventional camera straps and a QD socket to rapidly deploy QD-type camera straps. Prioritizing functionality and safety, it allows unimpeded access to the battery door while enhancing the ergonomic grip of the Z7/Z6/Z5/Z7II/Z6II body.

As the premier solution for tripod mounting of Z-series cameras, the BZ7 plate is part of a modular system that accommodates a custom L-shaped component, transforming it into a comprehensive L-Plate with horizontal and vertical RRS dovetail rails. This setup enables seamless orientation changes without requiring image recomposition, offering features such as a second QD socket, integrated hex key, and full access to camera port doors.

Optionally, the streamlined RRS BZ7-UL one-piece L-Plate provides simplicity and reduced weight without compromising strength, rigidity, fit, or finish.

*Note: L-Plates may not accommodate every USB, HDMI, MIC, or 3rd party cable release plug. Installation and uninstallation of the Nikon FTZ adapter must be straightforward. Once installed, regular clamping operation resumes for all components.
