The core line represents a new chapter for Really Right Stuff—years in the making and driven by extensive research and development. By bringing core line carbon fiber manufacturing fully in-house, we’ve redefined our tube design from raw material to final construction, allowing us to fine-tune strength, weight, and consistency at every step. The goal was simple: deliver true RRS performance while reaching a more accessible price point. Every detail—from the new carbon fiber layup to the dust-resistant twist locks and wider, glove-friendly pull tabs—has been carefully engineered to meet our standards. The result is a refined support system that maintains the precision and reliability you've come to expect from RRS, now at an average cost roughly 30% lower than comparable RRS Mk2 tripods.

The Benchmark core line of tripods uses our own American-made all-new carbon fiber tubes, produced in-house at our Lehi, Utah facility to deliver RRS performance at a more accessible price. Paired with our direct-to-consumer model, the core line brings the stability, durability, and long-term serviceability RRS is known for to a wider range of shooters without requiring the investment of our flagship tripods.

Precision-machined interfaces provide secure, rapid, seamless mounting to all our full-size ball heads, while the compact, low-profile design helps keep weight centered for confident handling and transport. Integrated attachment points and clean clearances make it easy to add accessories without clutter, and its fully serviceable construction is built to stay in the field—and in your kit—as the core line continues to grow.
