The Ultralight-24 is RRS's most travel-friendly Series 2 tripod, built on our Mark 2 platform with a fixed apex that trades quick-column compatibility for a smaller folded diameter and lighter carry. Custom-engineered twist locks, O-ring-sealed threads, and a vented clevis design keep the legs deploying fast and clean in the field, while CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components keep weight down without sacrificing rigidity. Despite its compact 3.4 lb (1.6 kg) build, it's rated to carry 85 lb (39 kg), giving you full-size stability in a pack-down-small package.
