BH-55 Dovetail Overview

A Really Right Stuff dovetail plate allows for the user to mount their tripod head to any Arca-Swiss style clamp. The dovetail plate will contour the base of either a ball head or gimbal head, outfitting the head with an Arca-Swiss style rail on the base. This allows the user to mount to a leveling base with a clamp and quickly change tripod heads when working with different disciplines.

The TH-DVTL-55 adds quick-release compatibility and works with:

• RRS BH-55 ball head
• RRS PG-02 Mk1 HB horizontal base (included with PG-02 Mk1 Pano-Gimbal Head)
• GigaPan EPIC Pro motorized pano head
• Arca-Swiss B1 and Z1 ball head (though the maximum diameter of these heads exceeds the maximum allowable diameter, the TH-DVTL does fit due to the radiused base of the ball head)
