Strong and Steady
I did a lot of research before buying this one. I like it a lot. I like the beefy legs and the easy leg adjustment without having to reach to the bottom. I am 5'10" and if I want to use it standing, I add the center column riser on it. It is a little too longer to stow in a pack, but I can probably find a solution for that. If you plan on packing a tripod in the mountains, I would recommend the TFCX-13 Crossover Tripod and the center column riser.
