This is exactly what I wanted for a packable hunting tripod. It fits well with a 25l day pack. It extends enough for a 5'8" person to stand and shoot with a wide stance. With one section extended its the prefect height for kneeling in position 1 and for sitting on the ground in position 2. The stability with a 13lb 300 magnum is excellent while using the anvil 30 on top. Buy once cry once will never let you down in the long run.
