Rock‑solid support for serious image makers.

One support system that can handle landscapes, portraits, and long‑lens work without slowing you down. This bundle pairs the Benchmark carbon fiber tripod with the BH‑40 LR II ball head to give you a full‑size, field‑ready platform that’s stable, travel-friendly, and fast to adjust.

The Benchmark tripod delivers a new, highly compatible apex with 4 leg angles, magnetic self‑ratcheting tabs, and 45 lb‑class stability, while the BH‑40 LR II adds smooth, precise ball control and a large Arca‑style lever clamp for quick camera changes. With a max height over 69″ and low angles down near ground level, the Benchmark tripod covers eye‑level landscapes, low‑angle foregrounds, and everything in between without the need for a center column. Magnetic, self‑ratcheting leg angle tabs and low‑profile, dust‑resistant twist locks make it easy to switch from standing to low angles with gloves on or in bad weather. The BH‑40’s large main lock, separate tension control, and smooth panning base let you compose, level, and lock down with ease.

The BH‑40 LR II uses a full‑size lever‑release Arca‑style clamp for fast, repeatable mounting with RRS plates and L‑brackets—ideal when you’re swapping between bodies or shooting both landscape and portrait orientation. A 90‑degree drop‑notch gives you an easy portrait position without sacrificing stability, and the head’s compact profile helps keep the system’s center of gravity tight over the apex.

The Benchmark tripod’s 75 lb rating and full‑size carbon fiber legs give you the stiffness and damping you need for long exposures, telephoto work, and high‑resolution sensors. The BH‑40 LR II offers enough capacity and stability for heavy camera bodies and telephoto lenses while staying compact in size. Proudly Made in USA, this bundle is built to perform across landscapes, portraits, and every shoot in between.

HEADS

Every RRS tripod is designed to work as part of a system, and the right head is what turns a stable platform into a fast, precise tool. From compact ball heads to dedicated shooting and video solutions, RRS heads deliver smooth control, secure lockup, and Arca‑style compatibility across bodies, lenses, and rifles. Take a look at our tripod heads to build out your system and dial in the control that fits how you work.

PLATES & RAILS

RRS plates and rails are the link between your tripod and your gear, giving cameras, lenses, and rifles a dedicated RRS dovetail interface that locks securely into our clamps. By standardizing on RRS-spec mounting plates and multi-purpose rails, you can move quickly between bodies, optics, and support setups without reconfiguring your system each time.

ACCESSORIES

RRS tripod accessories let you tailor your support to the way you actually work in the field. Interchangeable feet, straps, cases, quick‑columns, leveling bases, and mounting hardware expand what your tripod can do and how quickly you can move between setups. Explore our accessories to round out your kit and get more flexibility and longevity from your RRS support system.
