RRS-LOCK IS THE NEXT GENERATION MISSION-CRITICAL QUICK RELEASE (QR) MOUNTING SYSTEM FROM RRS.

THE SYSTEM
The Rapid Stop (RRS-STOP) System adds unique safety-stop features which are built in both a mounting rail and quick-release clamp that adhere to the RRS 1.5” Standard. The advantage of the system is the user has multiple “hard-stop” positions along the rail while retaining smooth edges and corners for maximum ergonomics and a snag-free interface that is inherently resistant to wearing down.

PIN
The RRS-STOP system is built around an always ready to engage safety pin. The pin engages into an RRS-STOP compatible rail or chassis, providing a non-slip interface that fixes the issues of friction based clamping.

RAIL
RRS-STOP compatiable rails are an open sourced system that follows the RRS 1.5in standard. The rail is drilled with 5mm indexing holes to create multiple safety stop postions which help prevent slipping.

COMPATIBILITY
RRS-STOP is built with compatabilty at the core. RRS-STOP™ rails can be used by any RRS standard clamp. RRS-STOP Clamps will work with a multitude of other plates or rails, with or without the saftey stops drilled.

*If no RRS-Lock Standard indexing holes are drilled than the saftey stop pin will not function as a safety stop.

RELIABLE
The RRS-STOP system was specifically designed to endure the rigors of exploring, integrating US-sourced, high-performance materials that are CNC machined and assembled in the U.S. The clamps are built to withstand a brutal drop-test at 40 ft-lbs of energy onto concrete in direct shear (with the clamp closed) and still maintain full functionality.

FAST
Optimizes a versatile feature set to accommodate the wide array of situational requirements today's precision shooter encounters. The RRS-STOP design enables single-handed tension adjustment and repositioning while enhancing sightless indexing within the clamp

VERSATILE
The ambidextrous system uses a tool-less, highly adjustable, lever-release system which optimizes a rapid re-positioning process. Moreover, the adjustability of the clamp allows compatibility with many other arca-type rails that are not in spec with the RRS 1.5” Dovetail Standard and is backwards compatible with all RRS rails
