Long Distance Pano Perfection

The 7.4" (189mm) rail is engineered for versatility and strength, featuring RRS-Lock incorporation and an integrated QD socket for secure and efficient attachment. Its double dovetail rail accepts Arca-Type clamps on both the top and bottom, while a laser-engraved scale in 1mm increments on both sides ensures precise and repeatable positioning of your no-parallax point. The thicker design resists bouncing and flexing, making it ideal for mounting heavier setups, and the fixed clamp readily accepts left-to-right oriented camera plates. An integrated bulls-eye spirit level helps keep your shots perfectly aligned with the horizon. Designed to serve as a nodal slide for larger cameras and non-collared lenses—or as a balancing rail on an Arca-Swiss style fluid head like the FH-7240—it also works seamlessly as a mounting rail for RRS or Wimberley flash brackets. Note: its longer profile may enter the frame when using ultra-wide or fisheye lenses.
