Like all the RRS camera L plates I’ve purchased over the years, this one is attractive, sturdy and well built. That said, this plate comes up short. If you’re like me and went with the EP version of the BG-R20 battery grip to gain the high speed Ethernet port, this plate will disappoint as the L frame of the plate blocks access to the Ethernet port on the grip. Sadly, this severely limits the usefulness of this plate for me. I think this kind of limitation should be called out in the product specs.
