Sony A9III Base plate
I finally received my base plate for my A9III. Build quality is typical RRS. Meaning excellent! I do have some feedback though. The plate interferes with the rear screen tilting downwards. The lower right corner of the rear LCD hits the plate. Preventing it from tilting downwards without rubbing the plate. I also believe the Allen key is also in the way of the LCD. Speaking of which. The Allen key is no longer held in place with magnets. Like with older plates form RRS. But clamps. How that holds up long term is unknown Also, the little hinge that moves and allows you to open the battery door feels a little loose when opened. Smallrig uses a similar design. But is under tension through friction. Which feels a little nicer IMO. Overall, it’s nice and adds the necessary height to the grip so my pinky has a place to rest. But I think a few tweaks will make it much better

High quality and easy to handle
The L-brackets from RRS are not cheap, but the quality and handling are unique. These brackets fit the cameras perfectly. All the controls on the camera are available despite the bracket being mounted. It's just a shame that there is no L-brackets for the A9III with battery grip!
