Custom L-plate for the Canon EOS-7D without the optional BG-E7 grip or WFT-E5/E5A wireless transmitter.This unique L-plate features dual strap lugs and bidirectional dovetail mount on bottom of plate. Now you can use both a handstrap and your neckstrap. Also, the bidirectional dovetail is very beneficial when shooting video since most existing video heads have clamps that only accept plates with fore/aft dovetails. Mounting screw rides in short slot; loosen mounting screw and slide plate slightly away from side of camera to create the clearance you need when shooting tethered in portrait mode.
