Multiple Flash Options
Multiple flashes can be used side-by-side, to deliver more power, or can be placed independently to provide better control over backlight, frontlight, or bounced light.

Two Nikon SB-800s (with optional fifth battery installed) mounted on B90 dual strobe bar using two FA-CS2 accessory cold shoes.
 |
Side-by-Side
Use our B90 dual strobe bar parallel mounting of two strobes. Spacing between the strobes is 6.5-inches. Use one FA-CS2 accessory cold shoe for each strobe. Need to trigger them wirelessly? Add a splitter to one PocketWizard™ receiver (use dual headphone adapter; 1/8" mono plug to two 1/8" mono jacks—available from Radio Shack) and wirelessly trigger both strobes simultaneously.

Two Nikon SB-800s (with optional fifth battery installed) mounted on B87-B flash bracket with one additional B87-FM flash mount. Strobe on right is mounted to the flash mount using the Nikon TTL cord, and strobe on left is mounted using our FA-CS2 accessory cold shoe.
 |
Dual Flash Mounts
Use two strobes on your Really Right Stuff B-Series flash bracket by adding an additional flash mount. Flash mounts are model specific; for example, a B87-B bracket can only use the B87-FM flash mount.
Hotshoe strobes cannot be mounted directly to flash mounts; flash mounts have single ¼"-20 stainless thumbscrews, not shoe mounts. To mount secondary strobe without TTL cord, buy one of our FA-CS2 cold shoes; see image at left.

Dual Macro Flash & Flash Extenders
By combining one or more flash extenders with dual flash mounts, you can create and control multiple lighting sources for interesting directional light. Because of the close proximity of the subject to camera, macro/close-up photography offers one of the easiest venues for fully controlling and observing the effects of lighting.
The Canon MT-24EX twin-light macro strobe and the Nikon SU-800 wireless speedlight commander system are excellent for this because the strobes are independently or inter-dependently controlled, they're lightweight, and can easily be positioned about the subject.
We offer two flash extenders to increase the reach of your strobes. Our B89 flash extender mounts atop our flash brackets to increase the vertical or forward reach by an additional 8.5-inches. This can eliminate "eyeshine" when using a strobe for flash fill on wildlife. Also handy to eliminate redeye when shooting nighttime prep football.
Our FA-EX1 telescoping flash extender mounts atop our flash brackets to increase the vertical or forward reach by an additional 3.8 to 6.14-inches. This capability can create interesting backlighting for macro work.
