Which Ballhead Should You Buy?
So you've decided to buy a ballhead, and you want to buy right the first time!

Our Full-Sized BH-55 ballhead
is right for you if:
• You want a very robust ballhead that can handle all studio work, macro setups, and Gimbal head attachments.
• You routinely use a 300mm/f2.8 lens or bigger.
• You have a Standard or Heavyweight tripod.
• You plan on adding a 300mm/f2.8 lens or bigger soon

Our Mid-Sized BH-40 ballhead
is right for you if:
• You want a light, compact ballhead for backpacking or travel, and you want it to have an independent panning base and/or drag set control.
• Your biggest “everyday” lens is a 70-200mm /f2.8 or a 300mm/f4.
• You have a Lightweight or Standard tripod
• You value the convenience of a lighter setup.

• You want a very small ballhead for backpacking or travel, and you don't need an independent panning base and/or drag set control.
