Really Right Stuff Ballheads

Really Right Stuff offers three different size ballheads. Each ballhead offers various clamp options. This family of ballheads will accommodate all your photography support needs from a travel set up to a heavy weight studio set up. Below are our ballheads shown with most of our clamp options.
BH-55 no clamp

Full-Sized Ballhead: BH-55

At left is our BH-55 ballhead without any clamp or platform installed. Our BH-55 is our largest ballhead and delivers solid performance for any load. This ballhead is load-rated at 50-pounds but weighs only 1.6-pounds. The BH-55 is available with a platform or with a quick-release clamp. All clamps shown below are interchangeable and easily removed:

BH-40 no clamp

Mid-Sized Ballhead: BH-40

At left is our BH-40 ballhead without any clamp or platform installed. Our BH-40 is our mid-sized ballhead and is perfect for popular light to mid-sized gear such as 70-200mm/f2.8 and 300mm/f4 lenses. This ballhead is load-rated at 18-pounds but weighs only 13-ounces. The BH-40 is available with a platform or with a quick-release clamp. All clamps shown below are interchangeable and easily removed:

Ultra-light Ballhead: BH-25

At left is our BH-25 ballhead without any clamp or platform installed. Our BH-25 is our smallest ballhead and is perfect for travel and backpacking; anytime weight is the premium factor. This ballhead is load-rated at 8.8-pounds but weighs only 3.7-ounces. The BH-25 is available with a platform or with a quick-release clamp. All clamps shown below are interchangeable and easily removed:
