Okavango Delta: Lions Crossing the Channel
Joe & Joan Johnson, owners of Really Right Stuff, traveled to northern Botswana in late July 2010 for their first African photo safari. This video, recorded at the edge of the Savuti Channel on Day 4 of their safari, records the activity of lions approaching the shooters from the opposite side of the bank. Video was captured with a Canon 5D Mark II; lens used in this video was the Canon 500mm/f4 lens. Gear was supported by a Really Right Stuff monopod with leveling base and PG-02 Pano-Gimbal head. All support gear was designed and made by Really Right Stuff in San Luis Obispo, California.
