Really Right Stuff Quick-Release Clamps

All Really Right Stuff clamps are precision-machined in the USA from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a beautiful matte-black anodize. Excess mass is removed to minimize weight and all corners are radiused for comfort and beauty. Most clamps are contoured to incorporate a high contrast spirit level for quick initial leveling in the field, and safety stop relief grooves allow for generous adjustability. All Really Right Stuff clamps are guaranteed (materials & workmanship) for 5 years.

Two Clamping Styles:

Clamp jaws open and close in one of two ways: by twisting a knurled knob on our tried & true screw-knob clamps; or by flipping a single lever on our innovative, patented lever-release clamps (see note about lever-release clamps).

Two Mounting Styles:

All clamps mount onto heads in one of two ways: They either spin onto an exposed male threaded stud (threaded either ¼"-20 or 3⁄8"-16), or they drop onto a female tapped socket (tapped either ¼"-20 or metric 6-1.0) and are secured with a screw from above. Choose models with a threaded center socket if spinning clamp onto a threaded stud. Choose models with a non-threaded ("thru-hole") center if mounting clamp on any ballhead from Really Right Stuff, any current model Arca-Swiss, and some Manfrotto models. Two Lengths:

Our standard length clamps, with 60mm (2.4-inch) long clamping jaws, are suitable for most photography. Choose our longer clamps with 80mm (3.2-inch) long clamping jaws for large format or super telephotos— heavy artillery.

Lever-Release Clamps:
for all quick-release plates from Really Right Stuff and Wimberley

The graceful Stainless Steel “S”-shaped cam-locking lever provides desirable benefits over traditional screw knob clamps:

Easy Top-Loading: In one quick action, the clamp can go from closed to fully open, allowing easy top-loading of Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release camera and lens plates. No more lost shots while fumbling to feed the plates into the end of the clamp.
Visual Confirmation of Lock Position: You can readily observe if the lever is locked, half-open or fully open.
Low Profile: The lever does not protrude above or below the top or bottom of the clamp, and, in the closed position, the lever closely hugs the contours of the clamp. This makes it less of a “weed catcher” in the field and reduces the chance of being damaged in a fall.
Less Abrasive, No Twisting: The smooth contours of the lever are less abrasive than standard knurled knobs, and for those with arthritic hands, the graceful lever cams open and closed with just finger force.
Super Tough, Reliable: The Stainless Steel lever delivers a lifetime of wear and rides on a self-lubricating, wear-resistant bronze bearing surface. Delivers 50 lbs. of holding power under full compression (the fully closed position) with our plates. This is more than sufficient for any practical photographic application.

B2 LR II			Standard length lever release clamp with dual mounting: centralized socket is countersunk on top but also threaded 3⁄8”-16. Clamp includes safety stop relief grooves and two countersunk ¼”-20 sockets spaced 1.2"/30mm apart on center. Comes with spirit level.
B2 AS II			Standard length lever release clamp with one centralized non-threaded countersunk socket. Mounts with flat head screw from above (accepts only M6 or ¼”-20, not 3⁄8"). Comes with spirit level and safety stop relief grooves.
B2-40 LR			Compact length lever release clamp with with one centralized non-threaded countersunk socket. Mounts with flat head screw from above (accepts only M6 or ¼”-20, not 3⁄8"). Comes with safety stop relief grooves.
B2 LLR II			Longer length lever release clamp with dual mounting: centralized socket is countersunk on top but also threaded 3⁄8”-16. Clamp includes safety stop relief grooves and two countersunk ¼”-20 sockets spaced 1.8"/45mm apart on center. Comes with spirit level.
B2-PRO			Standard length screw-knob clamp with dual mounting: centralized socket is countersunk on top but also threaded 3⁄8”-16. Clamp includes safety stop relief grooves and two countersunk ¼”-20 sockets spaced 1.2"/30mm apart on center. Clamp knob is captive.
B2-PRO II			Standard length screw-knob clamp with one centralized non-threaded countersunk socket. Mounts with flat head screw from above (accepts only M6 or ¼”- 20, not 3⁄8"). Comes with spirit level and safety stop relief grooves. Knob is captive. Comes with one flat head screw. Indicate ¼”-20 for any Really Right Stuff ballhead. All other heads from Manfrotto or Arca-Swiss require metric 6.
B2-PRO/L			Longer length screw-knob clamp with dual mounting: centralized socket is countersunk on top but also threaded 3⁄8”-16. Clamp includes safety stop relief grooves and two countersunk ¼”-20 sockets spaced 1.8"/45mm apart on center. Knob is captive.
B2-mAS			Mini-clamp with one non-threaded countersunk hole. Mounts with flat head screw from above [accepts ¼"-20 (included) or M6 only]. The "+" shaped machined recess on bottom of clamp can mate tongue-and-groove style with bottom of B2-FAB.
B2-FAB			Mini-clamp with one centralized ¼”-20 threaded socket. Note the two small tabs that extend from the bottom of the clamp. These tabs drop into a slot to prevent the clamp from twisting when mounted on a rail, or can nest with any AS clamp for back-to-back mounting.
PCL-1			Precision Panning Base with integral clamp and bubble level for smooth and level panning. Mount the panning clamp to your head, then simply shift the unit until the bubble level indicates that the clamp is level. In just seconds, you’ve created a level panning plane without the hassle of leveling the tripod.

NOTE ABOUT LEVER-RELEASE CLAMPS: Due to wide variations in other brands of Arca-Swiss compatible plates, we recommend using our lever-release clamps only with Really Right Stuff or Wimberley brand quick-release plates. To ensure compatibility with our lever-release clamps, we do offer a plate trade-in discount. If you already own Arca-style plates from other manufacturers (Kirk, Foba, Markins, AcraTech, Novoflex, or Arca-Swiss), we offer a $22.50 exchange discount towards purchase of a Really Right Stuff quick-release plate. Plate exchange only for identical model; you must send us your plate in advance to qualify for this discount.
