This package includes one each TVC-33S Versa tripod, TA-3-LB leveling base, and PG-02 FG Full-Gimbal head. This unique combination delivers a modular, versatile, and robust gimbal setup that can also be used for shooting 360° panoramas (additional clamp needed for pano functionality).
PG-02 FG Full-Gimbal Head
Our PG-02 FG full-gimbal head combines three modular pieces: a Horizontal Base that provides the horizontal panning, a Vertical Arm that provides the vertical panning, and a sliding Cradle Clamp for optimal positioning of large telephotos. The PG-02 delivers precision smooth panning and rock solid lockup for
any load. Store components separately for optimal portability when traveling; no tools required for setup or break down.
To assemble, slide the bottom of the Vertical Arm along the dovetail top surface of the Horizontal Base and secure with locking knob (lock inside edge of Vertical Arm at 110mm to laterally center your lens). Slide the Cradle Clamp down the Vertical Arm, lock into place, and load your lens. Our patented adjustable lever-release Cradle Clamp accepts all Arca-Swiss style plates except Arca-Swiss P0 plates and plates made by Novoflex.
When using head to shoot panoramas, remove Cradle Clamp and replace it with one of our sliding clamps (click here to see sliding clamp options). The Vertical Rail doubles as a nodal slide.
