*Note about fit on Leica M8: With MC-L mounted as close to side of body as possible, L-plate restricts free movement of camera strap.
**Note about fit on Mamiya 7: With the MC-L mounted snugly against the left side of the camera (from the photographer's point of view), there is not sufficient clearance to allow use of the cable release.
***Note about fit on Canon Powershot G3/G5: With the MC-L mounted snugly against the left side of the camera (from the photographer's point of view), there is not sufficient clearance to allow the LCD screen to swing completely open. The screen can still be opened and pivoted. It also obstructs the battery door.
