Lever-Release Quick-Release Clamp, 60mm jaws. This clamp has a NON-threaded center socket with countersink; mounting screw drops through from above into tapped female socket. This clamp cannot spin onto a threaded post. Mounts on RRS ballheads, current model Arca-Swiss ballheads, and some Manfrotto heads.
- Metric 6 or 1/4"-20? Clamp comes with one flat head screw. Determine which one you need before purchase. Really Right Stuff ballheads use the 1/4"-20 screw, all other heads use metric 6 screws.
- B2 AS II is 60mm (2.36") long with spirit level, safety stop relief grooves, and centering index marks (4.6oz/132g); choose either M6 screw or 1/4"-20 screw.
- Easy Top-Loading: In one quick action, clamp can go from fully closed to fully open. No more lost shots while fumbling to feed the plates into the end of the clamp. The lever can be stopped in 3 positions: 1) fully closed; 2) half open; and, 3) fully open. The half-open position allows the camera/lens plate to slide within the clamp for minor positioning adjustment.
- Low Profile: Lever does not protrude above or below the profile of the clamp; perfect for low-clearance applications.
- Super-Tough: The Stainless Steel lever delivers a lifetime of wear.
- NOTE: Starting in 2012, the Really Right Stuff B2 AS II clamp automatically adjusts to accept all Arca-Swiss style plates except Arca-Swiss P0 Slidefix plates and plates made by Novoflex. Choose a screw-knob clamp if you have Novoflex plates.
Note: our Lever Release clamps deliver 50 lbs. of clamping force under full compression with our plates. This is more than sufficient for any practical photographic application. If you feel you need more clamping force than this, use a screw-knob clamp.
