The Safari Ball Clamp is essentially a ball joint and it resembles our BH-25 ballhead in size and design. Its ability to pan and articulate allows for both height and angle adjustments of your Safari Rig.
The Safari Ball Clamp is typically purchased as part of one of our safari packages, but it can also function as a stand-alone ballhead. The Safari Ball Clamp is compatible with current versions of our B2-Pro or B2 LR II clamps.
Our Safari Rig was built with versatility in mind. The rig can be set up in many different configurations, allowing the photographer to adjust to a variety of space limiting conditions. The images below illustrate how the basic Safari Rig components (Safari Monopod Collar, Safari Ball Clamp, and Safari Clamp) are connected to each other. Note that images show pre-production models of all three components; current production models are slightly different.
