Plate for Nikon P7100. This base plate is modular: use alone as a conventional base plate, or add optional L-component to create an L-plate!
Plate provides full access to drop down door on bottom of camera, as well as a cut out for the speaker.
Note that the articulating LCD screen on this camera can tilt down at a maximum angle of 80°. The presence of the dovetail plate limits this downward tilt to 65°. In practice, this limitation will only become apparent if you're holding the camera over your head and looking up at the tilted screen.
