Description:

Off-camera flash mounts to camera plate. Our Portrait Perfect Packages contain the following:

  1. One Flash Bracket: Choose
    B85-B (Nikon D40/D50/D80/D200; Canon 10D/20D/30D/Xt/XTi) OR
    B87-QR (Nikon D2-series, D80/D200 with add-on battery grips; Canon 1D-series, 5D with or without add-on battery grip, 10D/20D/30D with add-on battery grips OR
    B91-B Flash Bracket (choose this bracket if you prefer to maximize the vertical distance between strobe head and lens - strobe may be offset from center in horizontal orientation).
  2. One Mounting Rail: MPR-CL

NOTE: The B87-QR Flash Bracket incorporates our new patent-pending quick-release system for your flash/strobe cord. Use the included FA-QR1 adapter; now your strobe/strobe cord will snap directly into the QR-Flash Mount.

DOES NOT INCLUDE CAMERA BODY MOUNTING PLATE. PURCHASE SEPARATELY.

Step 1: Clamp the MPR-CL mounting rail onto the side of your L-plate or the bottom of your conventional plate.

Step 2: Using the clamp built into the foot of the flash bracket, slide the bracket onto the nose-end of the MPR-CL; tighten knob.

Step 3: By sliding the orbiting head of the flash bracket into the detents along the hoop, you're now ready to shoot either handheld or from your tripod while always keeping the flash over the barrel of the lens!

NOTE: If you are mounting a flash without the manufacturer's strobe cord, you will need a coldshoe mount. See our FA-CS2.

These insulated cold shoe mounts allow direct mounting of hot shoe strobes without the TTL cord. Nikon SB-R200 Speedlights

Use our FA-QR200 adapter to mount your SB-R200 Speedlight Head onto any Really Right Stuff flash bracket instead of using the Nikon SX-1 Attachment Ring (this is the ring that comes with R1 & R1C1 Systems). One key advantage to using our flash brackets rather than the SX-1 ring is the ability to make fore/aft and radial adjustments to the position of the strobes (particularly when used with FA-EX1 extenders).

Lens Plates that are not Double-Dovetail

Really Right Stuff flash brackets fit lens plates with double-dovetails. Retrofit Kirk and older RRS lens plates with dovetail adapter (requires 5/8-inch of clearance between plate & lens barrel). Use FB-A600 to boost flash bracket up by 6/10-inch.
