This L-Plate was designed specifically for the Canon EOS-40D when used without:
• Optional WFT-E3/E3A
• Optional BP-E2N battery grip
• Optional BP-E2 battery grip
The B40D-L's sleek and ergonomic design allows our customers the most mounting options possible. Custom fitted for the Canon 40D camera body without battery grip, this L-plate allows the photographer to fit the L-plate tight against the camera body, maintaining the sleekest profile possible. Alternately, for mounting in portrait mode when using the Canon remote release, loosen the mounting screw and slide the L-plate away from the camera body to create enough clearance for the cable.
